We are currently looking for:

Job profile

  • – Developing and designing exhibits as part of a team for various clients (including museums, science centers, foundations, and political institutions)
  • – Independently designing exhibits within the guidelines of an overarching design style guide
  • – 3D design in Rhino 3D: quick sketches, detailed designs, and manufacturing proposals; creating production drawings; visualization
  • – Designing exhibits for the real world: integrating ergonomics, user experience, and inclusivity
  • – Developing ideas and concepts for exhibits and visualizing them quickly and clearly through sketches, mood boards, and rough drafts
  • – Contributing to compelling client presentations (both in terms of content and visuals), particularly using collaborative tools such as Google Slides and Miro
  • – Proactive coordination with the project team
  • – Clear structuring of your own work in JIRA
  • – Communication within the team in German and English

You should bring

  • – Several years of professional experience in the relevant or comparable field
  • – Strong conceptual and design skills
  • – Creative, confident, and proficient use of Rhino 3D
  • – Empathy for users’ needs and behaviors
  • – Excellent sense of how exhibits fit into the context of space and scenography in interactive spatial experiences
  • – Desirable: Experience in all phases of the project, from concept to production
  • – Ability to convey complex ideas clearly and vividly (sketches, mood boards, rough drafts)
  • – Structured and organized work style
  • – Strong communication skills when interacting with clients and project stakeholders
  • – Business-level proficiency in English and German

General conditions

  • – Project-based work for 6+ months
  • – Full-time: approx. 40 hours per week
  • – Start date: immediately / to be arranged

Job profile

  • – Development and creation of holistic design concepts for a variety of clients (including museums, foundations, and political institutions)
  • – Creation of mood boards, look-and-feel guides, and visual guidelines—both graphic and spatial, as well as scenographic
  • – Development of ideas and concepts, along with their quick and clear visualization through sketches, mood boards, and rough drafts
  • – Designing and creating compelling client presentations (both in terms of content and visuals), particularly using collaborative tools such as Google Slides and Miro
  • – Conceptualizing and developing graphic designs, design systems, and style guides
  • – Overseeing the implementation and ensuring the quality of design outcomes
  • – Working closely with internal teams and communicating with clients and external service providers

You should bring

  • – Several years of professional experience (at least 5–7 years) in the relevant field
  • – Strong conceptual and design skills
  • – A keen sense of space and scenography, layout, typography, and visual dramaturgy
  • – Experience in developing and implementing design concepts for both spatial and graphic design
  • – Experience in all phases of the design process (from concept to production)
  • – Ability to convey complex ideas clearly and vividly (sketches, mood boards, rough drafts)
  • – Proficiency with common software (Adobe) and presentation tools (e.g., Google Slides, Miro)
  • – Structured and organized work style: experience in resource planning, time management, and project management
  • – Strong communication skills when interacting with clients and project stakeholders
  • – Leadership experience is a plus
  • – Business-fluent in English and German

General conditions

  • – Parental leave replacement, initially for a fixed term of 1.5 years
  • – Part-time: approx. 30 hours per week
  • – Start date: immediately / to be arranged to ensure a smooth handover with the current designer
