Federal Minister Anja Karliczek opens our exhibition on AI

As of today, the floating Science Center MS Wissenschaft is touring Germany. On board this year, the exhibition ship of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research has an interactive exhibition on artificial intelligence, which we have conceived, designed and implemented for Wissenschaft in Dialog. Federal Research Minister Anja Karliczek ceremoniously opened the exhibition today.

It provides an overview of the topic of AI and makes the technology and the research behind it a playful experience. It combines exhibits from renowned universities and research institutions with interactive stations from Archimedes. The focus is always on people, because each of us has already heard of AI and uses it several times a day, consciously or unconsciously. The question now is: How do we want to shape our future with AI?

In the exhibition, visitors can enter into a dialogue with AI and form their own opinions. The scenography is not technically cool, but on the contrary colorful and lively. The exhibits by Archimedes invite visitors to feed an AI at the “Dat-o-mat” with information, program the facial features of the robot head KIra or write their own headline in the exhibition.

MS Wissenschaft will be at anchor in Berlin from 16 to 19 May 2019 and can be visited at the following times:

Thursday, 16.05., 13:30–19:00

Friday, 17.05., 10:00–19:00

Saturday, 18.05., 10:00–19:00

Sunday, 19.05., 10:00–19:00

The ship will then tour more than 20 other German cities until autumn.
