We are working on a new major project: the Shandong Science and Technology Museum. Together with our Chinese cooperation partner Beijing Zhongbang Exhibition Co., Ltd. we won the competition to design the master plan for the futuristic 60,000 m² building in Jinan, the booming capital of Shandong Province.
The museum is dedicated to scientific education and scientific exchange in many ways. In addition to various laboratories, lecture halls and conference rooms, it will comprise several cinemas and over 18,000 m² of permanent exhibition space. There, visitors will be able to immerse themselves interactively and multimedia into the world of physical laws, explore the human body and our universe, experience groundbreaking scientific discoveries and technical inventions as well as the smart technologies of the future. Special attention will be paid to the youngest citizens: We use and promote their natural curiosity and awaken awareness of scientific phenomena and questions in a playful way.
