Our touring exhibition "Ey Alter" now in Berlin

“EY ALTER” exhibition moves to the capital

After Bremen and Stuttgart finally to be visited in the German capital: the touring exhibition about the demographic chance “EY ALTER – find out about yourself” that we produced for Daimler according to a concept of the “GfG/Gruppe für Gestaltung GmbH”. Now it can be visited in the impressive “Gasometer”-building in Berlin-Schöneberg.

Demographic change – that sounds like a threat to society, especially considering Germany being one of the oldest nations in the world. But could it also be an opportunity to have generational diversity?

“Democalypse” or “Demochance”? This is the question and the theme of the exhibition “EY ALTER”, showing that every phase of life comes with new opportunities. Visitors are invited to rethink stereotypes about age and to learn more about themselves through numerous interactive and multidimensional exhibits. How does it feel to be twenty, forty or sixty years old? Don’t we all have different ages? And how does our society deal with old age – in politics, in companies, in schools?

EY ALTER makes the topic of “demography” tangible. Visitors are encouraged to take a completely new look at age, to receive answers and get food for thought, making clear that age has many faces.

The exhibition is open Monday to Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Thursday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and on holidays from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the Gasometer in Berlin. Admission costs 9 € for adults and 4.50 € reduced. There are also great school programs for young and experienced learners, which were developed in cooperation between Mercedes Benz Bremen and our partner Population Europe. Registration here.
