After Stockholm, Lindau is the city with the most nobel prize winners among its guests. To promote their research and the importance of the Lindau Nobel Laureate Meetings for the city, the “Lindau Science Trail” is now open. On 21 so-called “knowledge pylons” in Lindau and on the island of Mainau, science is made accessible for everyone. On these steles we present knowledge from the Nobel Prize disciplines: content from physics, chemistry, medicine, literature, economics and even the Nobel Peace Prize is awaiting the guests of the region and its residents. There are hard facts but also a quiz, cartoons and, of course, the accompanying app. The “children’s track” for the youngest arouses curiosity for science. The knowledge pylons always correspondent to the place where they stand and are designed according to the theme they treat.
