After Bremen and Stuttgart finally in the German capital: the touring exhibition on demographic chance, “EY ALTER – find out about yourself”, that we designed and produced for Daimler AG, after a concept by GfG/Gruppe für Gestaltung GmbH.
These days, demographic change sounds like a threat to society, especially considering Germany being one of the oldest nations in the world. But could it also be an opportunity for generational diversity?
Democalypse or Demochance? This question is the theme of EY ALTER. The exhibition demonstrates that every phase of life comes with new opportunities. Visitors are invited to rethink stereotypes about age and to learn about themselves interacting with numerous multimedia exhibits. How does it feel to be twenty, forty, or sixty years old? Aren’t we all at different stages of life anyway? And how does society deal with old age – in politics, in companies, in schools?
EY ALTER allows the visitor to really get a grasp of the complex topic of demography. They are encouraged to take a completely new look at age, find answers, and get food for thought – and to appreciate that every age has many faces.
